Welcome to Babinda Family Health
Welcome! We are a new clinic in Babinda, located in the same building as the Babinda Pharmacy. We have been open since the early months of 2019.
We offer general medical and skin cancer care, as part of our general practice (GP) clinic. Specifically, we offer at least the following currently:
- Injuries and fractures, lacerations
- Skin cancer management – skin checks, monitoring of suspicious skin spots, non invasive therapies (e.g. creams, liquid nitrogen), surgery including flaps and grafts
- Contraception
- Antenatal shared care
- Indigenous health checks
- Work injuries
- Chronic pain care
- Chronic illness care
- Ear operating microscope – very useful for things like outer ear infections
- Hearing tests
- Breathing tests – spirometry
- 24 hour blood pressure monitoring
- ECG’s
- Mental health care
- Employment medicals
- Travel vaccination
- Immunisation
- Drug dependence care
